Planta da família Lobeliaceae, da espécie Lobelia erinus L. (L. bicolor Sims., L. gracilis Hort., L. heterophylla Hort.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da África do Sul. Ela é herbácea, perene, de 15-20 cm de altura, muito ramificada, formando moitas baixas. As flores são pequenas, de cor que varia do violeta ou azul-anil, de ramagem pendente e tida como grande ornamental.

Note 1 and 2: It is from South Africa. It is herbaceous, perennial, of 15-20 cm of height, very branchy, making low clumps. Its flowers are small of violet to indigo color variation, of bending branching and considered highly ornamental.
