Nota 1 e 2: Ele é oriundo da França, por Millardet e De Grasset e recomendado como porta-enxerto na viticultura do Rio Grande do Sul. Seus ramos são avermelhados, glabros e com entrenós curtos, e os sarmentos mostram-se cobertos por uma camada de pruína, que se solta com o manuseio.

A rootstock resulted from the crossing of Vitis rupestri x Vitis riparia.
Note 1 and 2: It is from France by Millardet and De Grasset and recommended as a root-stock to the wine culture of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Its branches are reddish color, glabrous and with short internodes, and the twigs are covered by a bloom layer, which is released to the handling.
