Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocorre exclusivamente no Sul do Brasil, sendo considerada de clima temperado, infestando pomares, gramados e jardins. Ela é anual, herbácea, de caule revestido por curta pubescência. As folhas são simples, opostas, ovaladas, ápice arredondado com 2-4 dentes. As inflorescências em racemos com pequenas flores azuis-claras, intercaladas por folhas miúdas. O fruto é cápsula pubescente de 3-4 mm. Produz grande quantidade de sementes, que mantém seu poder germinativo por vários anos.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs exclusively in the south of Brazil typical from a temperate climate, infesting orchards, yards and gardens. It is annual, herbaceous, of a stem coated by a short pubescence. Its leaves are simple, opposite, oval, round apex with 2-4 teeth. Its inflorescences are in racemes with small light blue flowers, interspersed by tiny leaves. Its fruit is a pubescent capsule of 3-4 mm. It produces a great number of seeds, which allow its germination strength for many years.
