Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocorre da Amazônia até o Rio de Janeiro. Tem caule glabro, folhas grandes, glabras quando adultas e pubescentes quando novas, com flores róseo-púrpuras, axilares. O chá das folhas é recomendado como depurativo e purgativo.
