Nota 1 e 2: Ele é oriundo da França, por Millardet e De Grasset e recomendado como porta-enxerto para as variedades de uvas finas de mesa no estado de São Paulo. Seus ramos têm uma superfície estriada, glabros, de coloração verde-escura, com nós violáceos até a extremidade, contrastando com os entrenós.

A rootstock resulted from the crossing of Vitis berlandieri x Vitis riparia.
Note 1 and 2: It is from France by Millardet and De Grasset and recommended as a root-stock to the fine table grape varieties of the state of São Paulo. Its branches have a dark green glabrous striated surface with violet nodes at the extremity, which contrast with the internodes.
