Objective
This course provides training in the planning of experiments, statistical data analysis, and the interpretation and reporting of results. It is available to students from other ESALQ graduate programs at both masters and doctoral levels.

Content
Review of basic statistics. Random variation. Design of experiments. Completely randomized designs.
F test. Multiple comparisons methods. Polynomial regression analysis. Assumptions of mathematical
model - data transformation. Randomized complete block design. Latin square designs. Factorial
experiments. Split-plot designs. Strip-plot designs. Series of experiments. Analysis of covariance.
