The improvement of intellectual training, promoting training in microbiology focused on Agricultural Sciences to generate knowledge, incentives for research and higher education related to understanding animal cell systems, plant and microbial, using in vivo and in vitro methods; application of knowledge developed with cellular systems to improve processes, products and services; contribute methodologies and knowledge relating to the environment and to monitor the food quality and safety, processes and services provided to society.
The goal of the Graduate Program is the formation of high-level teaching and research in the areas of Environmental Microbiology and Microbiological Industrial Processes, generating basic and applied through cutting-edge research development in view of the scientific and industry demands.
