Nota 1 e 2: Originárias da Índia e do sudeste asiático; Um óleo amarelo, levemente brancacento é produzido de suas sementes, e quando exposto ao ar tem sabor aromático amargo e cheiro que lembra as favas do cacau; O óleo e a manteiga são usados respectivamente para iluminação e para fabricação de sabonetes. A madeira é considerada incorruptível e é muito utilizada em construção civil, as folhas servem como forrageiras e os frutos são comestíveis.
