Trepadeira da família Bignoniaceae, da espécie Doxantha unguis-catti.
Nota 2: Grande, lenhosa, de crescimento rápido, que sobe em qualquer suporte por meio de gavinhas curvas e agudíssimas, semelhantes á unha-de-gato e que se encravam nas menores frestas de muros ou na casca das árvores; suas flores são amarelas, em grande número em forma de funil, chegando a cobrir toda a folhagem e as copas das árvores.
