Arbusto da família Rubiaceae, da espécie Duroia saccifera Hook f. (Amajoua saccifera Mart.).
Nota 1 e 2: É nativa dos arredores de Manaus e muito rara no Pará; O que caracteriza a espécie são as grandes folhas largo-elípticas, áspero-pilosas, com um par de bolsas junto ao pecíolo; O seu fruto é baga, entre 7 - 8 cm de comprimento, dotada de tubo com 2 cm, correspondente ao cálice persistente, verde-escura, de casca estriada longitudinalmente e polpa comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is native from the surroundings of Manaus and very rare in Pará state; What characterizes this species are the big wide-elliptical, rough-hairy leaves, that have a pair of bags with the petiole; Its berry fruit has between 7 and 8 cm of length, with a 2 cm tube corresponding to the calyx with a dark green lengthwise striated bark and edible pulp.
