Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa das serras do Piauí, de Goiás e Mato Grosso (na região de Cuiabá). Ela é acaule, portanto, as folhas com 60-70 cm de comprimento aparentam surgir em touceiras diretamente da terra. O fruto é unispermo, com amêndoa extremamente íntegra.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the hills of Piauí, Goiás and Mato Grosso (Cuiabá surroundings) . It has no stem; therefore, its leaves with 60-70 cm of length seem to come out from clusters straight from the soil. Its fruit is unisperm, with an intact almond.
