Note 1 e 2: It is found in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the northeast of Brazil (The Zona da Mata) and areas of bigger fertility in the cerrado of the center of Brazil. It is of medium size, with frilly leaves, flowers and fruits with an edible heart of palm.
