ALMEIRÃO-DO-CAMPO
Planta daninha da família Compositae, da espécie Hypochoeris radicata L.
Nota 1 e 2: Originária da Europa e disseminada na região sul do País, onde ocorre com mediana freqüência em pastagens, gramados e pomares e terrenos baldios. Perene, de caule em forma de escapo (caule floral) desprovido de folhas. Desenvolve-se no período invernal, formando densa roseta, que floresce em meados da primavera seguinte.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Europe and it was disseminated in the southern region of the country, where it occurs with medium frequency in pastures, lawns and orchards and vacant lots. Perennial, stalk-shaped stem (floral stem) devoid of leaves. It develops in the winter period, forming a dense rosette, which blooms in the middle of the following spring.
