AMORA-AMARELA
Planta arbustiva da família Rosaceae, de espécie Rubus brasiliensis Mart.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é sul-americana, ocorrendo de Minas Gerais ao rio Grande do Sul, em capoeiras e orlas de matas. Ereta e escadente, de ramas finas, flexíveis e espinhosas. As folhas têm propriedades medicinais, antidiarréicas e as raízes são diuréticas. Os frutos, além de comestíveis ao natural, são transformados, na culinária doméstica, em geléias, compotas, tortas e outros doces.

Note 1 and 2: It is from South America, occuring from Minas Gerais to Rio Grande do Sul State, in brushwoods and in the borders of woods. It is straight and escadent, of thin flexible spiny roots.The leaves have medicinal properties, as antidiarrhoeal and the roots are diuretic. The fruits are edible fresh and transformed in home cooking in gelly, conserves, pies and other sweets.
