MAÇARANDUBA-MIRIM
Arbusto da família Sapotaceae, da espécie Manilkara triflora Chev. (Mimusops triflora Fr. All.; Mimusops cearensis Hub.).
Nota 1 e 2: É frequente nos baixios litorâneos desde o Pará e o Maranhão, até o Ceará. Possui folhas coriáceas, pecioladas, obovais e glabras. Flores dotadas de seis pétalas opostas e desiguais, com seis estames; fruto pequeno, coroado, baga preta, alongada, de valor frutícola insignificante.

Note 1 and 2: It is frequently found in the coastal low-lying areas from Pará and Maranhão states, to Ceará state. Its leaves are coriaceous, petiolate, oboval, and glabrous. The flowers have opposite and unequal, with six stamens; the fruit is small, crowned, black berry, elongate, with insignificant fruit value.
