ERITROXILÁCEAS
Família de árvores e arbustos do gênero Erytroxylum, que inclui perto de 20 espécies, sendo as mais importantes: 1) E. coca Lam., 2) E. exaltatum Bong, 3) E. microphyllum St. Hil., 4) E. campestre St. Hil., 5) E. cotinifolium St. Hil.
Nota 2: Eles têm tronco e ramos tortuosos, folhas simples, alternas, decíduas ou não, sem ou com estípulas caducas. As flores são axilares, pequenas e alvas, hermafroditas. O fruto é drupa, 1-2 sementes, endosperma carnoso.

Note 2: They have tortuous trunk and branches, simple and alternated leaves, which can be deciduous or not, and with or without deciduous stipules. The flowers are axillary, small, white and hermaphrodite. The fruit is a drupe of 1-2 seeds with a fleshy endosperm.
