Nota 1 e 2: Ela é habitante das capoeiras. É escandente ou prostrada. As flores são alvas e os frutos roxo-pretos, comestíveis. Ela também é estimada pelo gado, e os índios Tukanos a usam para afastar os maus espíritos.

A climbing plant of the family Rubiaceae, of the species Sabicea amazonensis Wernk. 

Note 1 and 2: It inhabits the Capoeiras (shrubbery forests). It is scandent or prostrated. The flowers are white and the fruits purplish black and edible. It is highly appreciated by the cattle. The Tukanos Indians also use it in religious rituals to get rid of bad spirits.
