Arbusto da família Ulmaceae, da espécie Celtis glycicarpa Mart. (Momisia tarifensis Wedd.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é de origem sul-americana. Ele é volúvel, em virtude se seus compridos galhos, armados de espinhos recurvos. As folhas são ovadas, acuminadas, íntegras ou pouco serrilhadas da metade para o ápice. As inflorescências aparecem na primavera em cimas axilares hirtas. O fruto é drupa pequena, amarela, comestível, mas pouco saborosa.

Note 1 and 2: It is from South America. It is volatile due to its long branches armed with curved thorns. Its leaves are oval, acuminate, whole or a little bit sawed from the middle to the apex. The inflorescence happens in spring as ruffled axillar chimes. Its fruit is a small edible drupe, but not very tasty.
