HIDROFILÁCEAS
Plantas da família Hydrophyllaceae, do gênero Hydrophyllum. No Brasil, encontram-se apenas os gêneros Hydrolea e Wigandia.
Nota 1 e 2: As Hydrolea são registradas na flora nativa do Rio Grande do Sul. Elas são herbáceas ou subarbustivas, terrestres, pilosas. Suas flores são hermafroditas actinomorfas (de simetria radiada), geralmente pentâmeras (com os verticilos de cinco peças ou múltiplos de cinco), ovário súpero, bicarpelar e bilocular. Fruto seco, capsular. A propagação é feita por sementes.

Note 1 and 2: The Hydrolea is native of Rio Grande do Sul. They are herbaceous or subshrub, terrestrial, hairy. Their flowers are hermaphrodite actinomorphic (of radiate symmetry), usually pentamerous, superior ovary, bicarpellary and bilocular. Dried fruit, capsular. They multiply themselves by seeds.
