ESTRELA-D'ALVA
Planta da família Amaryllidaceae, do gênero Eucharis, da espécie E. grandiflora Planch.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da Amazônia. Ela floresce duas ou três vezes por ano, mas também completa seu ciclo nas regiões de clima temperado, durante os períodos quentes, sendo necessário mantê-la em abrigo durante o inverno. Multiplica-se por meio de bulbos, que devem ser plantados a 3 cm de profundidade, crescem vigorosamente e produzem flores alvas, de 10 a 12 cm de diâmetro, formando umbelas de 3 a 6 componentes, que exalam agradável perfume.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Amazonia. It blossoms two to three times a year, but it can also complete its cycle in temperate climate areas, during the hot periods and in doors during the winter. It multiplies itself by bulbs, which must be planted at 3cm of depth. They grow vigorously and produce white flowers of 10 to 12 diameter, making umbels of 3 to 6 components that exhale a nice perfume.
