ESTRELÍTZIA
Planta da família Musaceae, da espécie Strelitzia reginae Banks.
Nota 2: Quando adulta, ela é herbácea, de folhas rígidas de 1,0-1,20 m de altura. Suas flores são belas, formadas por um pedúnculo da altura das folhas, tendo na extremidade superior uma bainha grossa, em forma de bico, da qual surgem os componentes das flores, com duas pétalas grandes, cor de laranja, entre as quais um labelo azul cobalto em forma de adaga. Ela é extremamente apreciada pelos floricultores, floristas e jardineiros.

Note 2: When it is adult, it is herbaceous, of rigid leaves of 1.0-1.2 m of height. Its beautiful flowers are formed of a peduncle of the same height of leaves. At the upper extremity, there is a thick sheath shaped like a beak from where the flower components develop. They have two big petals, orange color and a cobalt blue lip in the middle shaped like a dagger. It is highly appreciated by flower growers, florists and landscapers.
