Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo dos estados de Minas Gerais e São Paulo. Ele é revestido de densíssimo tomento ferrugíneo híspido, inclusive o fruto, que é baga séssil, 8-locular, globoso-achatada, 3,5 cm de diâmetro, não-comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. It’s covered with a thick hyssop dust color tomentum, including the fruit, which is a non-edible 8-locular globous-flat sessile berry of 3.5 cm of diameter.
