Nota 1: Ela é espontânea no Pará e em outras regiões tropicais brasileiras. Suas folhas esmagadas exalam odor de manjerona e alecrim, que são remédios para banhar os pés e aliviar dores de cabeça.

A tree of the family Myrtaceae, and of the species Britoa triflora Berg, (Campomanesia triflora Baill).
Note 1: It grows spontaneously in the state of Pará and in other tropical Brazilian regions. When its leaves are crushed, they exhale a marjoram and rosemary smell, which is used as medicine to bathe sore feet and headaches.
