INGÁ-CHICHICA-VERDADEIRO
Planta da família Leguminosae/Mimosoideae, da espécie Inga heterophylla Willd.( Inga prostracta Steud., Inga stenocarpa Benth., Inga umbellata G. Don., Inga vouapaefolia Benth., Mimosa parae Poir, Fevillea heterophylla Kuntze).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele está espalhado por toda a Amazônia e alcançando o Nordeste. Também presente nas Antilhas, Guianas, Peru, Bolívia e Colômbia. São todos de frutos. Folhas de 1-2 jugos de folíolos cartáceos, elípticos, de ápice longe-acuminado; flores grupadas em umbelas pequenas axilares; corolas brancas; fruto sub-reto ou curvo, quase cilíndrico, amarelo no amadurecimento, adocicado e comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is all over Amazon and reaches the northeast. It is also in the Antilles, Guyana, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia. They all have fruit. The leaves have 1-2 pairs of chartaceous leaflets, they are elliptical and with a long-acuminate apex; it has grouped flowers in small compound umbels; the fruit is curved, almost cylindrical, yellow as they ripen, sweet and edible.
