Nota 1 e 2: Ele está presente no Acre, Amazonas, Ceará até São Paulo, e nas Guianas, Colômbia até o Peru. É arvoreta de casca áspera, castanho-escura, copa esgalhada e espessa; tronco baixo, folhas bijugas com folíolos verdes escuros e elípticos.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs in Acre, Amazon, Ceará up to São Paulo states, and in Guyana, Colombia up to Peru. It is a tree with a rough bark with a dark brown color, twiggy and thick crown and with a low trunk; it has bijuga leaves with dark green and elliptical follicles.
