Note 1 and 2: It is typical of the tropical America, in the forests of the Guianas and the Brazilian Amazonia. It can reach until 20 m of height and the trunk can measure 0.80 cm of diameter. Its fruit is a flat glabrous legume of 10-20 cm of length x 2.5-3.5 cm of width, containing an edible pulp.
