TAJAZ-DE-COBRA
Planta ornamental da família Araceae, da espécie Philodendron imbe Schott.
Nota 1 e 2: Nativa do Brasil. Não tolera baixas temperaturas. Apresenta maior vigor de crescimento em regiões úmidas como na zona litorânea, principalmente do Norte e Nordeste. Ela é herbácea ascendente vigorosa, ramificada, com folhagem densa e decorativa. Folhas em forma de coração alongado, coriáceas, brilhantes e muito duráveis. As flores, geralmente raras, não possuem importância ornamental. É cultivada normalmente apoiada em troncos de árvores ou palmeiras, a pleno sol ou meia-sombra. Multiplica-se facilmente por estacas em qualquer época do ano.

Note 1and 2: It is native of Brazil. It does not tolerate low temperatures, growing easily on humid regions, such as coastal areas, mainly in the North and Northeast. It is vigorous climbing herbaceous, branched, dense foliage. Heart-shaped elongated, leathery, shiny and highly durable. The flowers are usually rare and does not have ornamental importance. It usually is cultivated by supporting itself on tree trunks or palm trees, on full sunlight or half shade. It multiples easily by stakes in any season of the year.
