TANGARÁ
Planta daninha da família Nyctaginaceae, da espécie Boerhavia difusa L.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é encontrada em solos férteis e sombreados de jardins, pomares, cafezais, fendas de calçada e terrenos baldios. Ela é bienal, herbácea, prostrada, ramificada, caule glanduloso-pubescente, medindo 80-160 cm de altura, com reprodução por sementes. Destaca-se por suas propriedades medicinais, sendo sua raiz considerada diurética e na forma de cataplasma, indicada no tratamento de icterícia. E suas folhas cozidas são úteis contra mordedura de cobra.

Note 1 and 2: It is found in fertile and shady soils of gardens, orchards, coffee plantations, sidewalk cracks and abandoned areas. It is biannual, herbaceous, prostrate, branchy, pubescent and glandulous stem, measuring 80-160 cm of height, and propagates itself through seed reproduction. It is well known by its medicinal properties having its roots being considered diuretic, and as a cataplasm, recommended to the treatment of jaundice. Its cooked leaves are useful against snakebites.
