Árvore da família Euphorbiaceae, da espécie Conceveiba guianensis Aubl. (C. ovata Rich, C. ovatum Rich).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa das matas amazônicas do Brasil e das Guianas. Ela pode atingir de 3-4 m de altura, de folhas alternas, simples, inteiras, oblongo-elípticas, acuminadas no ápice, coriáceas, as duas faces recobertas com pelos estrelários. Suas flores são dioicas, apétalas em inflorescências terminais piramidadas. O fruto é cápsula redonda, 2-3 cm de diâmetro, lenhosa, trigonal, marcadas com três arestas salientes, por 3 valvas, com uma semente de 9 mm de comprimento, lisa, envolvida por arilo branco, pulposo, doce e comestível ao natural.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of Amazonian forest of Brazil and the Guianas. It can reach from 3-4 m of height, of alternate, simple, whole and elliptical oblong leaves, which have acuminate apexes, coriaceous and both faces covered by starry hair. Its flowers are dioic, without petals in pyramidal terminal inflorescences. Its fruit is a round capsule of 2-3 cm of diameter, woody, trigonal, with three outstanding edges by three valves with one seed of 9 mm of length, which is smooth and covered by a pulpous sweet white aril to be eaten in natura.
