Nota 1 e 2: É nativa do Brasil e também de quase toda América do Sul e Central. Cresce em solos arenosos e pobres e ocupam grandes extensões nas chapadas. Produz muito látex, usado na indústria da goma de mascar. Pode ser usada como purgante e no combate a asma.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Brazil and also from almost all South and Central America. It grows in sandy and poor soils, and it occupies large extensions in the plateaus. It produces a great quantity of latex, which is used at bubble gum industry. It can be used as purgative and as combat asthma.
