TEFRÓSIA
Nome comum de arbustos medicinais da família Leguminosae, das espécies: 1) Tephrosia macranta, 2) Tephrosia tinctoria, 3) Tephrosia sena, 4) Tephrosia leptostachya e 5) Tephrosia toxicaria.
Nota 1 e 2: Elas são todas importadas da África. Seu princípio tóxico é a tefrosina. Crescem em terrenos baldios, desmatados e na periferia de cidades. Seu chá é laxante, mas concentrado, pode ser tóxico.

Note 1 and 2: They are all imported from Africa. Their toxic principle is the tephrosin. They grow in abandoned and deforested areas and city outskirts. Their tea is laxative, but when concentrated, it can be toxic.
