Palmeira da família Palmae, da espécie Astrocaryum mumbaca Mart.
Nota 2: É de pequeno porte; espique armado de acúleos nas cicatrizes deixadas pelos pecíolos das folhas, formando anéis. Folhas gigantes com pecíolo de base larga, armado de acúleos. Os folíolos são lineares com pequenos e esparsos acúleos negros nas margens; frutos vermelhos e semente dura oleosa, comestível. A espécie é frequente na mata de terra firme.

Note 2: It is a small size; stipe with aculeus on the scars left by the petioles of the leaves, forming rings. Giant leaves with petiole of wide base, with aculeus. The leaflets are linear with small and spars black aculeus on the margins. Red fruits and oily rough seed, eatable. The species is frequent in the wood of dry land.
