Planta daninha da família Solanaceae, da espécie Physalis pubescens L.
Nota 2: Infesta solos cultivados, pomares, pastagens, beira de estradas e terrenos baldios. Prefere solos sombreados e férteis. É desobstruente, diurética, estimulante do aparelho gênito-urinário e narcótica. É útil para inflamações do ouvido e da bexiga. Suas flores são amarelas, com manchas marrons, e seu fruto é verde, laxante e diurético.
