JURUBEBA
Arbusto da família Solanaceae, de diversas espécies, sendo a Solanum paniculatum L. a mais conhecida.
Nota 1 e 2: Ocorre desde a Amazônia até São Paulo e Minas Gerais. Seu fruto é baga branco-esverdeada. É muito utilizado na medicina popular e no preparo de bebida alcoólica tônica, feita de seus frutos. A raiz tem efeito purgativo e é aplicada no tratamento de cólica, herpes, dores reumáticas e sífilis.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs from Amazonia to São Paulo and Minas Gerais states. Its fruit is white-green berry. It is used in popular medicine and in preparation of and alcoholic tonic drink made of its fruits. The root has purgative effect and it is applied in the treatment of cramp, herpes, rheumatic pains, and in syphilis.
