TRIGO
Planta da família Gramineae, do gênero Triticum, de várias espécies: 1) T. aestivum L. e 2) T. dicoccum Schrank).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é originário da Ásia, e um dos mais plantados e consumidos para alimentação humana. No Brasil, destacam-se os estados do Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina e Paraná como grandes produtores. Tem sistema radicular, no qual se distinguem as raízes primárias, que são pouco ramificadas, já as permanentes, originadas nos primeiros nós do colmo, formam em conjunto, o sistema radicular fasciculado, bem ramificado, desenvolvido lateralmente e em profundidade.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Asia and it is one of the most cropped and consumed in human feeding. In Brazil, it is highly cropped in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná. From its radicular system come the primary roots, which are little branchy, while the permanent roots come from the colm first knots in groups, which is called fasciculate radicular system. It is very branchy, developing laterally and deeply.
