A shrub of the family Myrtaceae, of the species Psidium radicans Berg.
Note 1 and 2: It is typical of Rio Grande do Sul state. It has large low leaves, which narrow down in the canopy top, sessile, oblong, coriaceous, different color, and bright, orange and edible fruit. It has astringent properties.
