Nota 1 e 2: Elas ocorrem no Amazonas, Amapá, Pará, Maranhão e Piauí. Têm caules múltiplos, de 1-4 m de altura e diâmetro de 1-3 cm, eretas, com 7-12 folhas, inflorescências pouco ramificadas e frutos globosos ou ovoides. Multiplicam por sementes e têm potencial como ornamental, para jardins e interiores.

Note 1 and 2: They occur in the states of Amazonas, Amapá, Pará, Maranhão and Piauí. They have multiples stems, reaching 1-4 m of height and 1-3 cm of diameter, straight, with 7-12 leaves, not very branchy inflorescences and globous or ovoid fruits. They multiply themselves by seeds and have a great ornamental potential for yards and landscaping.
