ULMÁRIA
Arbusto medicinal da família Rosaceae, da espécie Spiraea ulmaria.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é comumente encontrada na Serra do Mar (Mata Atlântica). Pode atingir até 1m de altura, folhas perfumadas usadas para aromatizar vinhos, contém a ulmarina, ácido utilizado na indústria farmacêutica. Seu chá de raízes é fortificante para os músculos cardíacos, diurético e antifebril. E o chá das folhas e pontas das hastes pode aliviar afecções do aparelho urinário, hemorroidas e utilizado no tratamento de obesidade.

Note 1 and 2: It is commonly found in Serra do Mar (Atlantic Forest). It can reach until 1 m of height, its perfumed leaves are used to aromatize wines, and it contains the ulmarin acid used in the pharmaceutical industry. Its root tea is fortifying for cardiac muscles, diuretic and anti-fever. Its leaf tips tea can relieve urinary system affections, hemorrhoids and fight obesity.
