Nota 1 e 2: Ele ocorre em matas e capoeiras da região amazônica até Minas Gerais e São Paulo. Ele é escandente, de flores aromáticas. Os frutos são vagens longas, quase cilíndricas e rodadas. A casca das raízes é aperiente, diurética e purgativa.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs in the woods and shrubbery forests of Amazonia until Minas Gerais and São Paulo states. It is hooked, of aromatic flowers. Its fruits are long pods, which are almost cylindrical and round. Its root barks can be aperient, diuretic and purgative.
