ERVA-DE-PASSARINHO
Nome vulgar de trepadeiras da família Loranthaceae, destacando-se as seguintes espécies: 1) Phoradendron bathyorictum Eichl., 2) P. coriaceum Mart., 3) P. latifolium Griseb., 4) P. quadrangulare Krug, 5) P. tunaeforme Eichl, 6) Phthirusa obdita Moore, 6) P. pyripholia Eichl.,7) Psittacanthus robustus Mart., 8) Struthanthus flexicaulis Mart., 9) S. polyrhizus Mart., 10) S. syringifolius Mart. e 11) S. citricola Mart.
Nota 2: Elas são lenhosas que parasitam árvores, causando grandes danos à elas. Têm propriedades medicinais, empregando-se tanto as flores o como suco das folhas no tratamento de diabetes, hemoptises e hemorragia diversas.
