Planta da família Guttiferae, da espécie Clusia insignis Mart.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é típica da Amazônia. Ela é epífita nos primeiros anos de vida, e devido às suas raízes adventíficias, ganha a terra e se torna terrestre, desenvolvendo-se em árvore de até 6 m de altura; as folhas são longopecioladas, flores enormes, aromáticas, branco-rosadas; o fruto é cápsula com formato de cebola, de tamanho e cor de uma laranja e comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is typical from Amazonia. It is considered an epiphyte in the earlier years of life and later due to its adventitious roots becomes terrestrian, developing itself into a tree that can reach 6 m of height; its leaves are longpetioled, big white and pink aromatic flowers; its fruit is a capsule with the shape, size and color of an orange, which is edible.
