Nota 1 e 2: Ela é produzida com grande destaque na região Centro-sul do Brasil. Ela é bianual e formada por uma raiz tuberosa, carnuda, reta, sem ramificações, formato cilíndrico ou cônico, casca lisa e cor amarela característica.
