Árvore da família Apocynaceae, da espécie Lacmellea pauciflora (Kuhlm.) Monachino).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocorre no litoral sul da Bahia. Ela pode atingir até 20 m de altura, crescendo em terras silicosas fracas e úmidas. O seu leite adocicado extraído pode ser usado em refeições e goma na fabriacação de chiclete.

A tree of the family Apocynaceae, of the species Lacmellea pauciflora (Kuhlm.) Monachino).
Note 1 and 2: It occurs in the south coast of Bahia. It can reach until 20 m of height in weak and humid sandy soils. Its sweet extracted milk can be edible and used in bubble gum manufacturing.
