CHAPÉU-DE-COURO
Planta daninha da família Alismataceae, da espécie Eichinodorus grandiflorus Mich. (E. macrophyllus Mich; E. floribundus Seub.; E. muricatus Griseb; E. pubescens (Mart.) Seub.).
Nota 2: Ela é silvestre, aquática, perene, que infesta locais inundados, brejos e canais, podendo expandir-se e prejudicar o fluxo de escoamentos de drenagem. O chá feito das folhas largas e crespas tem virtudes terapêuticas, no tratamento do reumatismo, artritismo, males hepáticos e nefrites agudas.

Note 2: It is wild, aquatic, perennial, which infests flooded areas like swamps and channels, harming the water draining flux. The tea made out of its wide and crispy leaves have medicinal properties in rheumatism, arthritis, liver and kidney disease treatment.
