Trepadeira da família Bignoniaceae, da espécie Macfadyena unguiscati (L) Gent.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa do Brasil. Ela é lenhosa, vigorosa, de ramagem pendente quando desprovida de suporte. As folhas são decíduas antes do florescimento, verde-claras quando novas. Os ramos sobem por meio das gavinhas providas de uma unha terminal que se agarra ao suporte. Somente floresce quando madura, formando uma cascata de flores espetacular. Pode ser usada para cobrir caramanchões, muros e árvores. Multiplica-se por estacas ou sementes.
A climbing plant of the family Bignoniaceae of the species Macfadyena unguiscati (L) Gent.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of Brazil. It is woody, has a pending branching when it does not have a support. Its leaves are deciduous before the flowering and light green color when young. Its branches climb through twigs originated from a terminal nail that hooks itself to the support. It only blossoms when it is mature, making a spectacular flower cascade. It can be used to cover arbors, walls and trees. Its multiplication is by stakes or seeds.
