Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da Austrália. É anual, ereta, ramificada, medindo de 0,70-1,20 m de altura. As folhas são lanceoladas ao longo da ramagem. As flores são pequenas, em capítulos envolvidos por brácteas celulósicas de cores como amarelas, avermelhadas, róseas ou esbranquiçadas, muito duráveis, usadas na confecção de arranjos. Multiplica-se por sementes postas para germinar no inverno e na primavera.
An ornamental plant of the family Compositae, of the species Helichrysum bracteatum Andr.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of Australia. It is annual, straight, branchy, measuring 0.70-1.2 m of height. Its leaves are lanceolate along the branching. Its flowers are small in chapters surrounded by cellulosic yellow, reddish, rose or whitish bracts, of long life durability, highly used for flower arrangements. Its multiplication is by seeds set to germinate in the winter and in the spring.
