SIBIPIRUNA
Árvore ornamental da família Leguminosae-Cesalpinoideae, da espécie Caesalpinia peltophoroides Benth.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa do Brasil, típica da Mata Atlântica até o Sul do país. Ela pode atingir de 8-16 m de altura, com tronco de 30-40 cm de diâmetro, ramos com folhas bipinadas, de 20-25 cm de comprimento com 17-19 pares de pinas, e folíolos em número de 19-27 cada uma, de 10-12 mm de extensão. Sua madeira é moderadamente pesada, dura, de textura e durabilidade média. Pode ser empregada para construção civil, em caibros e ripas, e na estrutura de móveis e caixotaria.
An ornamental tree of the family Leguminosae-Cesalpinoideae, of the species Caesalpinia peltophoroides Benth.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of Brazil, typical from the Atlantic Forest to the south of the country. It can reach from 8-16 m of height, with a trunk of 30-40 cm of diameter, branches with bipinnate leaves of 20-25 cm of length with 17-19 pine pairs and follicles in umber of 19-27 each one and 10-12 mm of extension. Its wood is moderately heavy and hard of a medium texture and durability. It can be used in the civil construction, in rafters and clapboards, in the furniture structures and in boxing.
