Arbusto da família Malvaceae, da espécie Abutilon megapotamicum St. Hil. et Naud.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo do Brasil. É semilenhoso, escandente, de 2-3 m de altura, com ramos longos e reclinados, de folhagem e crescimento ornamentais. As folhas são serrilhadas e cordiformes. As flores são laterais isoladas, amarelas com cálice vermelho, pendentes, formadas no decorrer do ano. Multiplica-se por estacas preparadas no final do inverno e deixadas enraizar em ambiente protegido.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of Brazil. It is semi woody, climbing, of 2-3 m of height with long reclined branches, of ornamental foliage and growth. Its leaves are lateral isolated, yellow with a red calyx, hanging, formed through out the year. It multiplies itself by stakes prepared in the winter and left for rooting in a protected environment.
