SOLITÁRIA
Arbusto da família da Polygonaceae, da espécie Homalocladium platycladum Bailey.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo das Ilhas Salomão. Pode atingir de 1,5-2,0 m de altura, com ramos eretos e reclinados, achatados e planos, articulados, verdes, levemente estriados e folhas pequenas ou ausentes. As flores são de cor esverdeada. Pode ser cultivada a pleno sol ou a meia-sombra como folhagem ou isoladamente, em grupos ou renques. Multiplica-se por estacas preparadas no final do inverno.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the Salomon Islands. It can reach 1.5-2.0 m of height, with stems that are straight and reclined, flat and plane, articulated, green and slightly striated, small leaves or leafless. Its flowers are greenish. It can be cropped at sunlight or at half-shadow as a foliage or isolate in groups or in rows. Its multiplication is through stakes prepared at the end of the winter.
