UXICURUÁ
Árvore da família Linaceae, da espécie Duckesia verrucose (Ducke) Cuart. (Saccoglottis verrucosa Ducke).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da Amazônia. Ela atinge de 30-45 m de altura, habitante de terra firme, não inundável. As folhas são dísticas, oblongo-lanceoladas, acuminadas, curtopecioladas, com ápice e base acuminados, margem dentado-serrada. As inflorescências têm 3 cm de comprimento, com pedúnculo tênue e largo. As flores são minúsculas, de suave odor, esverdeadas em 20 estames amarelos. Os frutos são drupas de 7 cm x 6 cm, de casca esverdeada, lisa e a parte comestível é o mesocarpo, que é grosso e oleoso.

Note 1 and 2: It is antive of Amazonia. It can reach from 30-45 m of height, inhabitant of dry lands, not flooded. Its leaves deistic, oblong lanceolate, acuminate, short petiolate with acuminate apex and base, and teethed sawed margins. Its inflorescences have 3 cm of length, with a thin and large peduncle. Its flowers are tiny, light smell, in 20 yellow stems. Its fruits are drupes of 7 cm x 6 cm, of greenish soft skin and the mesocarp is the edible part, which is thick and oily.
